MOORESVILLE, N.C. (April 6, 2024) - Layne Riggs competed at the Martinsville (Va.) Speedway last night for the sixth race of the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. Riggs had his best qualifying effort the year, qualifying his No. 38 Infinity Communications Ford F-150 in third for the 200-lap event. Working his way around the 0.5-mile track, Riggs beat and banged to keep his starting spot to finish Stage One in third place and earning valuable stage points. After a slow pit stop under the stage break caution, Riggs was shuffled to the back of the pack. Riggs made up for lost ground and finished the second stage, 22nd. In the final stage, Riggs was collected in multiple on-track incidents, showing the toughness of his Ford F-150. Riggs fought his way back up the field to finish the race in 15th position.

DRIVER LAYNE RIGGS:
"Probably the craziest race I've been a part of. We were collected in multiple wrecks and just couldn't catch a break. We had a pit road mishap and that put us in the back to get caught in everyone else's mess, unfortunately. We'll just have to regroup and come back better at Texas.
