Post-Race Report: Phoenix

STATESVILLE, N.C. (11/12/12) – – A pair of blown right-front tires plagued Front Row Motorsports teammates David Ragan and David Gilliland in Sunday’s Advocare 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.  Gilliland had a right-front tire fail on lap 50, sending him hard into the turn 4 wall and ending his day in the LoanMart Ford.  Ragan also made hard contact with the turn 4 wall on lap 276 when he also lost a right-front tire on the No. 34 Barrett-Jackson Ford.

“I always look to do well when I return to the West Coast, but unfortunately a blown tire ended our day early.  I was hoping to earn a solid run for LoanMart.  They’ve been a great partner for us this season.  We will look to end the season on a high note as we head into Homestead for the season finale.

“We lost a tire towards the end of the race and sustained a lot of damage to our Barrett-Jackson Ford. Unfortunately we lost some ground to some of the other teams we’re racing in the points.  We’re going to put our best foot forward next weekend and try to end the season with a strong run at Homestead-Miami.”
