“Track position is important here, and our qualifying effort hurt us. We did, however, do a good job making adjustments during the race. Pat came over the radio and just told me to ‘pick them off one at a time,’ and that was our strategy. We had solid pit stops all afternoon and did the best we could to bring home a decent finish and make up some ground in the point standings.”
David Ragan, No. 34 8-Hour Alert / MHP Ford

Statesville, N.C. (7/16/12) – - After hearing some of the recent news and comments on supplements in the NASCAR media, MHP and their 8-Hour Alert brand made the decision to climb aboard David Ragan’s No. 34 car for the Lennox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Ragan suffered a blown motor and was unable to complete the race.

“We had a good qualifying effort, which gave us a lot of hope heading into Sunday. Unfortunately, we lost a motor early on and weren’t able to finish the race. I’m glad 8-Hour Alert and MHP were able to jump on-board and use the race to portray a positive message about supplements. I’m looking forward to Indy, where I’ve had some good runs in the past and sat on the pole last season.”
