Sparta, Ky. (7/2/2012) – – When all was said and done in Saturday night’s Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway, Front Row Motorsports teammates David Gilliland and David Ragan crossed the finishline 28th and 29th.
This week the team heads to Daytona International Speedway, a track where Ragan is the defending race champion, and Gilliland has earned a Daytona 500 pole and a 3rd place Daytona 500 finish.

“We fought hard to get back on the lead lap, but could never get fate to fall our way. There were a few times where, if the caution were to fall, we would have been the lucky dog. We tried our best and worked on the car all race. When you have a lot of long green flag runs, you don’t get as many chances to work on the car and make adjustments. This week we are racing at one of my favorite tracks

“We battled a tight car all race long and the late race speeding penalty on pit road under green really hurt us. It wasn’t our best day, but it wasn’t our worst either. I’m looking forward to racing a Daytona, a race I won last year. The run both of our Front Row Motorsports Fords had at Talladega in the spring gives me a lot of hope leading into this upcoming weekend.”
