The defending race winner of the Coke Zero 400 at the 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway came into Saturday night’s race with confidence he could repeat the performance. He had a fast 8-Hour Alert Ford throughout the weekend and just needed some “racing luck” to avoid the wrecks that we are all used to at plate tracks.
